Hi Tony,

Where is the van?

I'm in Elgin, and unusually I'm home all weekend if you need a hand.

Hi, just wondering...
Did you find a Bongo friendly garage? Mine has developed a similar problem and I live between Inverness and Elgin. I replaced the top hose after it was leaking but suspect it has blown head gasket or worse because its overheated in the process...
Now lots of white smoke :? It would be nice to find someone who knows what they are doing!
Thanks

There are no recommended Bongo specialists on the club database in your area although there are a few garages around Inverness that club members in your area use for non bongo specific jobs. Nearest bongo garages on the database to you are in Aberdeen and Dairsie in Fife. Your best bet is to get in touch with Dave Aber who comes on the forum from time to time, being a long time bongo owner he must know about most of their problems by now although his own speciality is electronics.

Your best bet is to send Dave a PM (personal message) to which he should receive an email from the forum to tell him that your message has arrived. He will then have to log into the forum to read it.

Highland Campervans by Dalcross service Bongos. They used to run their own fleet of hire Bongos so should know their way around them.

Hello everyone,

Did anyone try Dalcross campers for servicing the Bongo, mine needs a general check and am not sure where to take it. Martine, did Dalcross work well for you? What is the estimated price to completely service the van including cambelt?

Any garage or mechanics recommended?

Thank you all
