AGM: Amendment To Rule 1.1 (1) (b)

In the event of the introduction of new rule 1.1.(1) (e), which is discussed elsewhere, this will mean that rule 1.1 (1) (b) will have to be amended. Although we can give too much away here in open forum, it is proposed that a new sentence should be added to the end.

Unless you are in (or on) a non-motorised form of transport in which case rule 1.1 (1) (e) applies.

But do please remember your statutory obligations under the disability access regulations, and be sure to undertake an equality impact assessment.

Mrs B has become an expert in applying the rules from non-motorised transport as we can often be seen around North Somerset on our tandem.

She will be available to speak at the AGM, possibly as part of the Risk Assessment process.

I think that a non-executive sub-commitee should be formed to evaluate the implications of discussing details of Inner Sanctum regulations on open forum.

Or would that require a seperate thread   .................

what is really required here is a tsar to oversee the implication of rule changes, with a think tank,an advisory comittee and a quango to back him up oh and start thinking about creating some new peers so there can be a non partial enquiry afterwards.

I do think a steering group should be formed to submit suggestions and policy to the sub committees for their consideration prior to submission to any standing orders committee and then ultimately brought to the AGM for members consideration....

Evoking the Human Rights Act there should be a Referendum on any matters of National Strategy.

Establishment and composition of the Legislative Assembly - Constitution Order 2008 No. 2846

27.—(1) The Bongo Community shall be divided into two constituencies, Bashers and Stayaways. Bashers shall return three elected members to the Legislative Assembly and stayaways two elected members and the members shall be elected in such a manner as shall be prescribed by Ordinance.

(2) For the purposes of this section the boundaries of the Basher constituency shall be such as shall be prescribed by the Ordinance which shall make provision for elections to the Legislative Assembly and Stayaway shall be the remainder of the available consituents.

(3) Subsections (1) and (2) may be amended by Ordinance; but no Bill for any such Ordinance shall be enacted unless it has been supported in a referendum by at least two-thirds of those voting who are registered as electors in each constituency.

(4) In any referendum held under subsection (3), any person registered as an elector pursuant to section 32 at the time of the referendum shall be entitled to vote.

What's a quango? Keep meaning to look it up in the dictionary

And do Rules 1.1 (1) (a) - (d) have to be adhered to at the Bash (or indeed at any Bongo meet)?
