Nice one again Muz & Co....... looks like you had great weather up there compared to our 2 week trip to Wales & Cornwall...... Funnily enough we were chatting about Scotland for 2011 while at the C&CC site in Chipping Norton (not as nice as your locations but another weekend away)..... The pictures are very inspirational.......

Just a Fuji S5600 mostly in 'auto' mode, sometimes in natural light mode. A big zoom is a must for me

Muz Jr uses the S6500, I'll have to take a look at his pics tomorrow.
Great photos of Scotland. You are now known as the McMuz's.Thanks for the guided tour. Dogmaniac =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

We're doing some of that route in September using a Hopscotch Ticket - which one(s) did you use?

It was borderline whether it would be cheaper to go for a 15-day island rover ticket but in the end we used Hopscotch 23 for the Barra/Uists/Harris/Skye section and Hopscotch 17 for the Islay/Arran section. Then we just bought tickets on the day for Mull and the other daytrips.

We've just booked a HS20 for the Oban-Barra-Uist(s)-Skye hops - so far.

If we've time to do Harris & Lewis we might see if they'll let us add on the extra crossing.

Some trip, you did our two trips in one go with a bit extra added on. Surely your next big trip will be to the northernmost island in the Shetland Islands in 2011 to see the Northern Lights at their best.

Apparently there's been a lot of bleating in the local press about the number of white buses cluttering up the wilderness, all this wild-camping may soon be much more difficult to do.

Yes most laws and other restrictions are only the result of bad behavior by a few, but the many end up getting clobbered.
