I've got RX8 with 235/50/18's on and they are very close on lock on the front, this is the only bit to watch, If they caught I was just going to trim the aero kit back a bit. A mate of mine ran 19's with a lower profile and his were fine on a tin top aero. No catching issues. Lots of T5's are running 20" rims so tyres with load rating should be easy enough to source.

Hi Andy
It's SO addictive, isn't it!!!...I had some dog guards made in the UK...A fellow member (Thanks Flossie) had the same guards and spoke to the maker, and I got them to deliver to Bulgaria...The cost was mad!...I had them made for the Bongo with the fold-up seats removed, but as I had the guards fitted, I then wanted the folding seats back, so I got a local firm to modify the guards at MORE expense....Now I'm looking at MORE bits to add...    ...and some more custom spraying....It never ends!
Cheers

Hi Andy...
Well, you're 300% right...out comes the sun, and it's spend-on-Bongo time. Fortunately, there's not many more things I need / want, but they do add up to a fair bit

hi helen

well I cant find anything to do

I was looking at removing rear bench seat and making a shelf - so it can still be used for sleeping

daft really - a bongo that was sold on here - had a very nice diy shelf

I was looking for something to keep a lot of stuff in - even the cooker in a draw etc

just a spruce up for a day van jobby sort of thing

havnt done much this year as my knees have packed up -

had arthroscopy on left in april - no throbbing pain but still stiff and sore

right knee booked in for august 5th

had severe complex meniscus tear of the lateral horn lol ,,, got the same in both

you see - even with a kyham - camping is a hidden killer !!! lol

good job f1 is on this weekend as weather doesn't look promising

Hi Andy...
I thought of this thread while I was having my MOT done in Veliko Turnovo this morning....and saw some HUGELY monstrous alloys in the parts department (VW centre)....OOoooohhhh....they were BIG....and very wide....thinks....thinks....bodywork modifications :?: :?: :?: :?: they must have been bigger than 8J, and more than a bit nifty (dribble, drool).....
Oooohhh knees...the bad knee thing makes me squirm...I have knee and elbow trouble...arthritic, but camping is a bit of a drawback here as well,'coz my neck has a disc disintegrated, and my spine is shot in several places....so I have an inflatable guest bed for camping...last time I tried getting in the roof I fell out     ....so I tend to stay near ground level!
Cheers

spine - spine don't get me started on spine

I have 3 degenerating disks in my coccyx

not bad enough to operate - and they wont poke around with steroids etc etc

ive suffered all my life - when I look back

but have done a lot of weights and training in the past

the last 2 major episodes had me down on the floor for 5-6 weeks and 3 months before I felt ok - no pain

I am now on amyltriptalyne ? or something very similar - a nerve blocker - so you don't feel the nips of nerve pain and lets you carry on

good or bad thing - I dunno - but it has let me lead a half normal life for the last 12 months

I think that's why I got in for my knees so quick - from surgeon to op - 5 wks each knee

I think this is so it keeps me up and about

at 48 - very soon - I keep hearing the knackers yard calling

lol

Hi Andy...
Nasty....My osteo specialist , when asked re a cure said (shaking her head the way they do)....operation....which sent me scurrying to the door...I don't think I'd go for an op. in the UK...let alone over here....Apart from sporting injuries, I've been in a few bad crashes, and I reckon they'd have a field day on my back...so I have a brace 23/7...and a lot of alcohol
So what nut-case said sport is good for you might get a rude comment from me!

hi Helen

well I can only tell you that the latest medication the amyltryptalyn / again spelling is the best thing ive been put on

still get stiff back etc - and a very sickly feeling as if my back is warning me

but no - spasm pain

and normally takes a day to settle and back to normal

they are used for mass suicidal depression lol

2 birds with one stone

I cant state that I don't get peed off - but im not as angry as I used to be

Hi Andy
Going back to wheels...I have some rather tasty wheels on the Jeep...The guy at the tyre centre got his mate to take a picture of him holding one....err....they would take one hell of a lot of bodywork to fit the Bongo!    someone said Jeep wheels fit a Bongo
Cheers
