Was it you we discussed what best to finish the woodwork with? Looks a fun Bongo. Good luck with the next project.
yes, that's right...well remembered! I went with the Danish Oil recommendation, worked a blooming treat... needed 'airing' for quite a few days though... :D

I agree. And flush fit doors elsewhere - not often seen

Looks smart, i also like the tambour door. Does anybody ever have problems with these getting stuck/jammed when opening or closing??

I have one that rolls and the rest go 'up and over'. The rolling one did get stuck but it turned out it was wonky and that's why it got stuck. Now fixed and no problem. You have to make sure there's nothing in the cupboard that could get tangled in the 'roll' though!

Recently purchased Bong with top of the range conversion from company in Lulworth. (Bongo Lulworth conversion)

Can anyone advise on the storage for the table top and wooden spacer for the bed. I was advised that they may be stored in the roof?

We certainly keep our table in the roof.

Close it first then slide in gently towards the front.

If you slide it towards the rear it will come down and clout someone.

This assumes you have an AFT.

Looking at some side conversions, I cannot fathom how two adults could possibly get a decent comfortable sleep on some of the narrow beds shown in the conversions? :?: Having just laid on one recently at a dealer I would struggle trying to share the space with my other half.

Well a full width standard double mattress will fit on top of the seats when they're all folded flat. Any side conversion will obviously narrow the bed width but a decent nights sleep is well achievable, assuming you're on good terms with the other person!

You would have to be to sleep on almost the equivalent of a single sized bed...could only have been just over a 1m wide for a 3/4 rock n roll bed. They look good but not sure how people can sleep on them, perfect for one.

Perfect for one and a hot water bottle dog!
