Re: Allithwaite September meet 27th - 29th
Ho Jo.
Can you put us down for the Sat night definitely please, may be able to get there Friday but depends on work.
Would like a hook up if available but no problem if not.
Cheers
Brian & Christine.
Tony, look forward to seeing you both again. Tell June to bring the moggy. On a site in France last week and a bloke came out of his motorhome wearing the cat round his neck like a scarf.

Re: Allithwaite September meet 27th - 29th
See you there Brian and Christine.
June and I will be at Allithwaite from Thursday until Monday. We will be travelling down from the CC&C site at Keswick. We are having a late holiday now that my Arab pal, his wife and youngest daughter have now gone back home after spending 6 weeks with us.
Tony
PS: The cat is booked into her usual cattery or as we tell her the local cat beauty Spa.

Hi Jo, sorry we're not going to be able to make this meet afterall. We've had something come up (ooh 'er Mrs) that we can't get out of unfortunately.
This will probably be our last meet of the year????? So will see you all in the field next year.
Enjoy this weekend, hope the weather stays fine for you.

Re: Allithwaite September meet 27th - 29th
We really enjoyed our stay earlier in the year and would have loved to have come along to this, but family stuff and the fact that the Bongo is just about to head off to Ian Taylors on the back of a RAC recovery truck (suspected cylinder head gasket!) means we can't.
Hope you all have an ace time and hope to see you next year.

Re: Allithwaite September meet 27th - 29th
That's a shame Debs and David, the field had been mowed to lol I don't think I will be doing another one this year now, Chris and I have some stuff booked up.
Dave, I hope you get family stuff sorted and of course your Bongo I do hope it is not the head gasket.

Another Big Up for Jo and Chris for organising this weekend.
Unfortunately it was a bit of a poor turnout compared to previous meets, with only 4 units on Friday, and Brian and Chris (Briwy) making up the numbers on Saturday morning. Those who didnt show were missed, but it couldnt be helped, and we were blessed with fabulous weather all 3 days,to make amends.
Hope Tony,Brian and Chris enjoyed their cross bay walk this morning. Hope you took some photos, unfortunately I didnt this time.
See you all next year............happy Christmas !!
Ps,Chris,your tomatoes were delicious !

Thanks Jo and Chris for another good weekend.
The walk went well thanks Brian, had a great time, perfect weather and the last walk this year by the Queens Guide, Cedric Robinson, who has been doing the job now for 50 years, still going strong at 80. A few pictures here.
Leaving the start at Arnside
Onto the sands
Tony & Chris
Blackpool Cricket Club decided to have a game all the way over

Cedric Robinson, Queens Guide
Getting wetter
And wetter
And wetter
And wetter
And wetter still
Allright for some
Doggy paddle
Cedric, waiting for everyone
Backup transport
Tony & Chris drying out
Tony heading for the Isle of Man
Into the sunset
Heading for land
Dry land, well, very smelly muddy land actually
Fabulous experience, well recommended and thanks for the lift back Jo.
