Re: Scottish Bongo Bash 2013
We camped at the Gairloch site a couple of times in our pre Bongo days. Found a great coffee and cake shop on our first visit then found it closed on our second
Stayed at the Rosemarkie site last year with the Bongo and don't remember there being any midgies . The dolphins are great to watch but you need to time it right. Mountain bikes trials and a brewery in the vicinity

Re: Scottish Bongo Bash 2013
The West coast is generally a bit warmer, wetter, and midge-ier than the East coast. I would also say it has better scenery.
Re: Scottish Bongo Bash 2013
If I can make, I would opt for the Gairloch one as above it is usually warmer on the West
Re: Scottish Bongo Bash 2013
Gairloch please

+1 for (big) sands. great site. Plenty of space to spread out without the risk of pinching anybody's pitch.

For those without hookup? Plenty space?
Re: Scottish Bongo Bash 2013
Yes, plenty of room. But I won't know prices until next year.
