How easy to sell a Bongo?

Post by Wilber » Wed Jul 23, 2014 10:12 pm

Hi,

I am pretty new to this Bongo thing.

If I were to sell my Bongo how easy or hard are they to sell privately?

It is a rear-converted N reg with 125000 miles. Runs well and on very good condition.

Is it a guaranteed quick sell or a slow struggle for most sellers?

thank you

A good vehicle sensibly priced for it's age and condition should sell within a few weeks dependant on how and where you advertise it. An overpriced rusty dirty heap advertised on a postcard in local newsagent is probably going to be a struggle.

Look in the For Sale section to see what similar vehicles are being advertised for and then put your advert in there too.

I second Simon's response and add that the cheaper Bongo private sale market is active but discerning. You state mileage as125k, which if is miles rather than km could generate higher mileage nerves with many buyers, but won't prevent sale. Northern prices generally seem a bit lower than in the South.
