4W ABS light and go faster stripes

Post by a Tiger Bear » Wed Apr 16, 2014 5:04 pm

Hey all,

I'm a new owner of a '99 2 tone silvee, AFT, 4WD, 2.5D Bongo.

After having a fair few little things sorted on it, new tyres, suspension arm, yadeyada, I finally received it back from the garage and took our first trip in it to Rutland Water last weekend.

On the journey back, a couple of miles from home the 4W ABS light came on .. .and appears to like the limelight as it hasn't gone off since . . .

Now - my best guess work (and google) inform me that more likely than not it's a faulty ABS sensor on one of the wheels . . . is there anything I can do to check this(as a clueless yet enthusiastic I'll give it a go if I have instructions kind of guy . . .)?

And the go faster stripes . . .as subtle as they are on my silver/grey model, the strips down the side are starting to peel off - is there any issue with whipping them off? Anything I need to be wary off?
