I really feel for Bill.

I found Bill on this forum, and despite his difficulties was absolutely awesome in offering assistance with our poorly bongo.

Good luck mate, and we will be popping up for a chat, a brew and to see whats on offer.

Cheers bud......

Our V6 is booked in with Bill and his team for some major surgery. Been happy to wait several months for him to get up and running again as I know she couldnt be in better hands.

Not often you come across a gem like Bill and he certainly deserves our support

What disaster? It was just a wee mishap, the roof collapsing, nearly killing me, and worse, squashing all my beloved Bongos! The folks in Japan know what a disaster really feels like?
First of all, a big thank you to you all for the messages of sympathy and support, it has been a great source of strength during a dark period (apart from the light coming in where the roof used to be!). We actually continued working without a roof for about a month, just doing emergency work on frozen Bongos ( injector pumps and undersealing mainly), but finally gave up when the power failed . Naturally, there was a Bongo up on the ramps having it's engine extracted when the power went off, and we had to lift it off with forklift trucks. Scary moments.......such is my life.
Anyway we've now relocated all the ramps, machinery, tools and bits of bongo to new premises in Kirkcaldy, which is at sea level and although not as quaint and rural as Lathalmond, should not suffer from adverse weather, unless we have a Tsunami, which is quite likely given my run of bad luck.
The setup at our new place should be a lot better as I'm sharing facilities with a good friend of mine, and we now have mechanical repairs and full bodyshop up and running and the conversions unit will be ready first week in April. We already have three bongos in for body repairs, seven for mechanical repairs, and two booked in for conversions, so please don't feel obliged to fire your bongo at me just yet as we've a bit of a backlog!
The three business units will operate separately but I'll co-ordinate and project manage all the work so you unfortunately have me as your point of contact for mechanical, bodyshop, and conversion work.
Our new address is ....units 4/5, Muirhead Court, Mitchelston industrial Estate, Kirkcaldy KY1 3LN. No landline yet so please call me on 07907661175 or email [email protected] you turn up uninvited I might not be there so please phone in advance so I can deal with you personally.
And please remember to bring your own milk. And your Bongo must be clean. And you too. [-X

Thanks for the new contact details Bill, glad to see you are getting things back on a workable level!
Stevie.... it should take about the same time from the West to Bill's new place. Just over the Forth Road Bridge and turn right instaed of going North. Quite close to where The Scottish Bongo Bash is being held this year  How big is yer kettle Bill? Should we bring a tea urn?
