Parking on fury day at the forth meeting

To celebrate 10 years since the formation of the Bongo Fury owners club, Sunday 24th February 2013 has been designated as National Bongo Day. What we have in mind is a series of events in various locations across the UK & Ireland where Bongonauts can get to meet each other and perhaps have a Sunday lunch.

Parking on fury day at the forth meeting

Post by the laird » Wed Feb 20, 2013 7:52 pm

Hello all, just an update,I've been onto the relevant bodies for the past few days regarding parking at the ferry.
I've Ben told that we can use the coach parking spaces.the parking restrictions in Edinburgh are suspended on Sunday's but to our knowledge there are no liners in on sunday.this means we can use them but if a coach did arrive and asked us o move we may have to but it's unlikely I wes told.further to this we can use the car park to the rea of the hawes in which belongs to Edinburgh council.so we're sorted regarding parking.all we need on the day is if it's like Sunday there (sunny), and finally BONGOS
So please let's make this a fab day for all.i think down south will be watching the pics once they are processed.
Happy Sunday guys

Was down looking at parking situation at the ferry this noon,we will have to use the coach areas as the car park at the hawes is not suitable for us to utilise!
I feel we could get all if not most of the bongos lined up at a slight angle in the coach parking and it would look great.
