Belfast

To celebrate 10 years since the formation of the Bongo Fury owners club, Sunday 24th February 2013 has been designated as National Bongo Day. What we have in mind is a series of events in various locations across the UK & Ireland where Bongonauts can get to meet each other and perhaps have a Sunday lunch.

I'm posting this on behalf of Anne from Strabane. She says it would be nice to organise a get together for 24th February and has suggested meeting at Ikea near Belfast Airport. Lots of free car parking available, and an excellent restaurant......meatballs anyone?

Location details here: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/store/belfast/indexPage

Does anyone else fancy it?

Tomorrow I'll jog their memories by sending an email reminder to all members with a BT postcode.

Open to suggestions for somewhere more exciting (was just really being a bit selfish in that if no one turned up I could still get a day shopping out of it). But and its a big but we are totally relying on our bongo passingb its mot today and to be honest it will take a miracle. So in a bit of a fix. Even with the expert advice ofv the lovely people on the forum there just isn't time......watch this space in case the mot man is blind or tired tonight and lets us through.

We have passed MOT and are going to Belfast tomorrow!!! V happy! There might maybe be 2 of us if Leon is coming?? Dont think IKEA actually opens fully til 1pm but have been caught out before left hanging around BUT I think the restaurant and show room opens at 12. so maybe 12 would be early enough to meet AND as i keep stressing I'm happy to go somewhere nicer if any suggestions....
