Yes hopefully we can drum up some new interest. I have some spare needles & hooks - & I'll sneak some wool into the Thule box!!! :P I will also have some print outs of how to crochet left & right handed - Just got to find some knitting ones now - We'll enjoy ourselves - BTW our bongo has our names on flip down names mounted on the reverse of the sun visors & we are there from Wednesday!

We're there from Wednesday too. I'll be the one sat in my awning knitting. I'm knitting scarves to sell at the moment so I will bring some with me. :D :D

Hey there! Mrs Driver here.

Will be bringing some knitting with me, so all I need to do is make sure the Mr. knows he's in charge of the littlest Passenger.

I would love to learn how to crochet, another left hander also!

See you then!

Mrs B may well be along, however, if the weather doesn't improve I don't think I'll get her to the Bash, never mind knitting. :?

We can't be at the Bash but you might like to hear about the website I use. www.knittingparadise.com. Super site where you will find answers to all your problems and lots of tips, it's a great forum. Leads to free patterns, how to use circular needles, different methods of casting on - and crochet isn't forgotten either. Links to videos showing you how to do just about everything plus a search facility. It is an American site but lots of Brits use it. As with the Bongo site, you can go in and read or you can register (free) and then ask questions and join in the chat.

If you haven't left for the Bash yet, have a look at it.

Happy Knitting!!

I'm delighted to say that Mrs B really enjoyed this, thanks for hosting Edna.

The landlady of the Hollybush (where we were lunchtime) even came along once we said what was on in the afternoon.

Thanks to Edna for having the idea to hold this, I really enjoyed it. Thanks for taking the time and patience to teach me how to crotchet, I think the personal 1:1 on Saturday helped a lot. I am going great guns now, am doing a blanket that I found on Revelry.com in double crotchet stitch which I learnt how to do on youtube!!!

Hope this can become a regular event at future bash's :D :D

Well done Evil Edna =D> =D>
