did anything ever come off getting header tanks at a reasonable price
i am in the process of completely stripping mine cooling system down , flushing ,cleaning and inspecting each item as i do so to make sure when i replace my cylinder head the cooling system is in tip top condition
however when i removed the header tank i have found 2 small stress cracks in the bottom there is no sign these are leaking but prob will in the long term

Does anyone know what is the cheapest you can buy a new header tank for??? 4 years ago I paid £120...
If I know what the cheapest is today I will research a bulk buy from abroad and sell on to club members at cost.
4 years I could have passed on top quality repros @ £65 delivered to members, but if you read the early parts of this topic and note that there were a few problems.
Things are much more settled on the forum these days so I will look into the viability again.

Hi Haydn...
I bought mine from Allan's...He may still be able to find a price?....original Mazda one
I know what you mean on the group buy thing...I tried organising some hugely kool heated windscreens...a reliable established company, and at a price you wouldn't believe....AND he could have got them delivered to your nearest fitter!...ah , well....
Cheers
Helen
