Harry can I still sell stuff in the auction if it isn't there in time for viewing? If I can't make it till Saturday later on or Sunday morning can I still join in. I should have as a minimum(if I can find stuff);

Frame tent
Frame awning
2 bongo footrests and head rests (head rest money straight to charity - these were yours!)
3 basic camping mats
Quechua Seconds Base Tent
small 230v toaster
12v kettle (with cups etc)
Bedboards (Roofboards) for kids to sleep in the bongo roof
vango kids mummy sleeping bag
2 Portaloos (go on guys - have one last go!)

and probably lots more - basically I have to get rid of pretty much all the bongo and camping stuff before August. If anyone is looking for anything that I may be able to put into the auction, just let me know and I will check if I have it.

Shouldn't be a problem Cath.
If you are coming down on Saturday seek me out and we'll do the admin etc. I'll probably be in my shed (with awning) but possibly in my blue boxer van.
cheers

I may book in for an overnighter but if I do, I won't have anywhere to store my sales stuff :) I will see if I get a day pass :)

Right Ho peeps

Here are a few more details to whet your appetites!

First of all it is NOT a charity auction....it is an auction with the sellers' & buyers' fees going to charity...a big difference!
***************************************************
AUCTION RULES

ALL BUYERS' AND SELLERS' FEES, AND DONATIONS, WILL BE GIVEN TO KENDAL MOUNTAIN SEARCH & RESCUE TEAM.

1. Any item of either camping gear or bongo related gear accepted...any other items only accepted at the autioneers discretion.

2. Items may be combined into job lots (a great way of getting rid of junk) or sold individually.

3. Lot selling price reserves will be accepted at the time of lot registration only. Auctioneer has a discretion of no more than 10%.

4. Lots must be registered prior to the start of the auction and may not be withdrawn once the auction starts. Once registered, lots will be made available for viewing as soon as possible. Secure overnight storage will be available.

5. SELLERS FEES: Each Lot will cost the seller 50p at the time of lot registration. If a Lot is unsold the seller will be offered a refund.
Any additional donations from the selling proceeds of a Lot can be made at the seller's discretion at 'settling up' time (suggested minimum 5%).

6. RESERVE FEES: Each Reserve will cost the seller 50p at the time of registration. This fee is non refundable.

7. BUYERS'S REGISTRATION: Bids will only be accepted from registered buyers. A 'Buyer's Number' must be purchased prior to bidding.
Cost:
50p if purchased before the auction starts. £1 once auction has started.
'Commision Bids' will be accepted. Registration Fee 50p per Lot.

8. Spectators are welcome. Donations in collection box please!

9. If you win a Lot in the auction you are obliged to pay for it. Buyers must pay for, and collect, purchased Lots immediately after the auction ends. If Lots purchased are not collected they will be retained by the autioneer until paid for. Details of any 'no shows' will be published on this forum.

10. Sellers may collect their money for sold items after the AGM or may request that the money is posted on to them. Any unsold items not removed from the saleroom at the end of the auction will disposed of by the auctioneer and the proceeds donated to charity.

DISCLAIMERS
11. This auction is dependant upon the goodwill, honesty and humour of all the participants. Neither the auctioneer or any other person involved in the organisation of the auction will be held responsible for any cock ups.

12. All goods are sold as seen unless specifically sold otherwise. No refunds can be made by the auctioneer.

******************************************************
So thats about it. Any queries please post them on here, pm me or see me at the Bash.

If you want to list (advertise) items that you are putting into the auction you are welcome to do so on here too.

If anyone fancies giving the auctioneer a hand let me know.

I'm off to the Bash on Friday lunchtime.

cheers
