Leisure battery

Post by Becky&stu » Tue Aug 16, 2016 11:31 pm

Hi
Our fridge certainly does not work and after pressing all configurations on the power buttons we think it must be the leisure battery. Can anyone give advice as to how we check, how we change or what deals to look out for?
Thank you
Becky

Anything in particular make you think it is the LB at fault?
Does thd fridge work ok when on EHU?

First off would be to check thd battery's voltage. Do you have a voltmeter or multimeter? Expect to see around 12.5volts and 13-14 volts when engine running.

Thanks. The fridge doesn't seem to work at all, even when on mains. Any suggestions?

Can you give us a bit more info about the setup, what sort of power managements system do you have often its a PMS3 or a ZIG CF8/9 unit ?
Do you have a multimeter to make checks with ?
Does anything else work from the leisure battery OK or Not or do you know what is meant to work from the LB ?

If I am totally honest, I have no clue about any of it but I can try and find out. Not sure anything works unless it is on mains but the fridge doesn't work on mains either. Will have a look at it and let you know! :)
