Re: Show us yer insides
Hi , we started out with this little unit I put together myself fitted behind the rear seat and was fully removable
then in july last year we to had a full conversion done by clearcut in Bideford Devon , the tourer plus same as Alans seats 6 with belts , makes full length bed cost approx £5500.00 as we had a few extras ,

Nice conversion Wormey, 321Away I assume?
We've got exactly the same (saves me uploading any pics) including the top loading fridge which means you can have your cup of tea in bed in the morning!
The only thing I'd change would be a split lid on the cooker/sink and have it lowered to be flush with the work surface along with a lino (not carpet) floor.

There are some lovely homemade efforts amd pro conversions there. We're still torn between a full conversion for longer touring or soemthing that would keep the Bongo more versatile.

Re: Show us yer insides
we payed just over 5k for it a tourplus from clearcut the only thing i think i like to chage would be the frige to a top open one like 123 conversion as long as it low porwer like this one can prak up for 4 days no elc or starting the van

Top loading fridges save a lot of energy, all well as sometimes being more accessible. They make good sense in vans but are not so convenient in houses.the only thing i think i like to chage would be the frige to a top open one like 123 conversion as long as it low porwer like this one can prak up for 4 days no elc or starting the van
My bike generator research led me to a site in Australia where a guy turned a chest freezer into a very economical fridge.

I did a bit of a search and found a few of people's novel interiors. i hope it's okay to post these links.

Perhaps we could have a fact-type sheet that includes links and information on people's novel conversions? I'd happily help put it together.
