European breakdown cover for 15+ year old Bongos

Post by fastanbulbous » Sat Jul 28, 2012 3:55 pm

I'm looking for an annual multi trip cover and having read the various posts on this site have learned that you really need to look at the small print and even then it is no guarantee of good service.

I came across this firm who specifically mention their policy is for 15+year old vehicles and quoting £100 for annual multi trip.
Has anyone had any experience of them?

http://www.hodgsoninsurance.co.uk/break ... over15.htm.

So far I have
AA - £211 (for Lite Cover !!)
Green Flag don't seem to do 15+ along with many other companies
The Bongo is insured with Lifesure and I already have UK breakdown cover with the AA.

We're off to France for a month in September. I would welcome any advice/suggestions re breakdown cover.

Try motorbreakdownrecovery.com in conjunction with "2gether insurance." £65 per year for european cover. you have to give 48 hours notice of a european trip. As always, read the small print for exclusions, but they definitely cover vehicles of any age.
