1 pm Saturday boating lake on main car park. 1 hour ish followed by beer.

Crabbing competition will be going ahead weather permitting One o'clock Saturday for an hourish at the boat lake wall on main car park great fun last time.

I can confirm that I have now purchased the prize. All I need to do now is remember to bring it with me!!!!!

Fantastic meet, once again. Thank you Ian for organising it once again.
The crabbing competition was a great success, although our original venue - the retaining wall between the Millpond and river - was fenced off so we all crammed on to the jetty on the other side which possibly stymied everyone's chances of getting a record haul of crabs. However, the winners were as follows:
2nd runner up was Dennis with 11 crabs
1st runner up was Jeff (and Jacky) with 15 crabs
Winner was Daran with a very impressive 19 crabs. Not sure whether being shirtless contributed to the winning formula, but I won't be trying it next year!!
