Anglesey Meet June 4-6 half term

If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

Anglesey Meet June 4-6 half term

Post by friendeedebs » Mon Apr 05, 2010 8:50 pm

I'm hatching a plan for an Anglesey Meet half term with a tour around the island to see the amazing lions under the bridge

Llynnon Mill, (the only working windmill in Wales) http://www.visitanglesey.co.uk/llynnon-36.aspx

Llyn Alaw http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/northwest/ou ... alaw.shtml

Dingle Nature Reserve that leads to Llyn Cefni http://www.anglesey-hidden-gem.com/dingle-walk.html

If there's time lol

Thought I'd post my idea up and see the response before I started ringing round campsites as obviously it will be a busy week being half term, so an idea of anyone who'd like to come would be good

Debs :)

P.S if anyone's over this way that week anyway, give us a shout, I'm off and will be doing local stuff all week anyway :D

We could be up for this.

We're planning a few days in Shell Island during that week so could possibly merge the 2 trips - pencil us in! :D

After a frustrating morning on the phone being told...ooohhh it's whit week y'know
I finally found a site which I've stopped on before, small but nice :)
They've got potentially 8 to 9 pitches available, maybe more with splitters :)

So I've booked and if anyone else wants to come they need to contact the camp site and ask to book with the Mrs Pritchard party, the number's 01407 721131 and the website is here http://www.yfronydd.com/

It's £15 a night and they want £15 deposit to be sent direct to the site, cheque, postal order or cash after it's been confirmed with the owner

It'll just be on a first come first served basis I'm afraid, but if it goes well I may well book the site again later in the year when it's not peak time :D

Oh Deb happy memories. We had a great time there last August.

The site is nice and level and in a beautiful setting. The showers are fantastic as you have two styles, modern and the Wendy House (My favourite) and plenty of hotwater. Take your own loo roll thought 8)

I wish we could join you again as your local knowlege and fab activities will leave those that can attend totally amazed.

Well done for getting this going

Now come on Guys and Galls, get booked. You don't know what your missing.

A working Wedding Video Weekend turned into a damn fine treat. Thanks for inviting us last year

Chell
