Sorry - posted this in the Conversions forum a week ago but no response. Will try here...
Hi all,
I need to get at the wiring from the external mains supply inlet to the internal sockets, so will have to remove the whole of the internal trim on the rear offside.
Are there any guides on how to do this? I can't find anything via searching (not that this means there isn't anything there!)
Many thanks
N

Re: Removal of internal panel
It's a few years since I've toyed with mine but from memory, the internal lower panels are held on with spring clips so starting with the rear-most panels a swift yank should release them. The window height panels are also held on with spring clips but require the removal of the upper seat belt bolts beforehand.
Just be mindful of listening for any spring clips that ping off.

Rather than just yanking them, its better to use a prising tool, or long screwdriver, some of the clips will stretch and then ping off around the van otherwise!
Re: Removal of internal panel
Definitely buy the right tool. It will save you hours and mangled panels and chipped paint. I struggled to remove the panel on my rear door using a variety of screwdrivers. An hour's swearing to pop just a couple of the clips, damaging one of the panel's clip slots in the process. I called a halt at that point.
I then bought one of these and had the panel off in about 2 minutes!

Coupled with this kit, you should be able to get any panel off.
