Tailgate reflector removal

Post by Eye Guy » Fri May 26, 2017 8:52 pm

I have a couple of rusty patches on the tailgate that I'd like to paint.

I need to remove the panel of reflectors to get access. How does it come off? Is it just the two bolts (one either side) on the inner face? Or is there more to it?

Thanks for any info.

There's a bit more to it I'm afraid , the rear door card needs to come off , then the plastic damp proofing sheet .
There are two large plastic push in clips to be undone left and right , best done with a small plain screw driver then further in two Philips headed screws , one is hidden behind the lock relice mech which will need to temporarily moved then it just comes off :D
Simples ........lots of fixings for one panel
Best of luck with it and take your time !
