Fiamma F45 brackets

Post by afws » Sat Mar 05, 2011 4:54 pm

Just bought 2.5 meter Fiamma F45S wind out awning complete with brackets to attach to guttering. Have been assuerd the brackets are as for VW T3. Having problem getting brackets to fit. Anybody had experience with this awning & brackets.

The t3 are the ones that fit the bongo, they are a bit of a tight fit , i had to slightly bend the gutter to make them fit.
Lost without my Bongo.

I did consider this but was reluctant until I heard from others that had had the same problem. Thanks for the quick response. Will try this tomorrow.

You do have the clamping plate round the right way, not sure it can be inverted but just a thought ?

Hi there took my rear bracket off and fitted the awning to the roof bar.The rear bracket damaged my van put a wopping great dent in the top.Not a happy chappy a will tell ya.Dont rate the brackets at all.To much flex in them.Just a word of caution.Love the awning though.
