We will be travelling between Welsh and Scottish bashes so it sounds an ideal location for the weekend! Put us down that's Evil Edna and myself for Hookup for the Friday to Monday (4 nights).

Not sure if you have been to Allithwaite before Geoff. There are only about 8 hook-ups so you had better get your name down for one or better still bring a splitter. You will have a nice run along the A7 from Carlisle through the Scottish Borders, traffic on it is usually light but the road has lots of bends with few good overtaking places .

There is a big free car park with a public toilet besides the river on the north side of Langholm if you want to stop to feed the ducks and look out for the grey heron.

No we've never been there before! and yes we always carry a 3-way splitter!

Not stating that you needed or did not need a hook-up was a bit of a give away Geoff. Alithwaite as you probably know is a village playing field not a campsite and the first members to put their names down tend to grab all the hook-ups. All requests have to go through Pixie who lives about 100 yards away yet turns up in either her motorhome or bongo.

One of my favourite places. You can see Blackpool Tower from it on a clear day.

We went to Cartmel with young Nia today for the antique fair in the village hall today, it was full of stuff that we have in this house that I want to get rid of They also had a open food market
there it was really busy.

Not much has happened with the pump track it seems they were waiting for good weather. So far just a narrow trench had been dug.

We are getting close to having the weather to use the hovercraft again Muz, it is real fun out on the Bay
