14C Thursday....that be oil change temps

Talk about non-Bongo stuff. BUT KEEP IT CLEAN....there are children watching. Smut, filth, and anything offensive will not be tolerated and removed immediately.

All freshly Castrol Magnatec'd up again, I like having that in especially for the winter cold starts. Let summer begin... :D

Yes always feels nice. Never quite get my head around the official Bongo diesel engine oil change period (3,000 miles every 6 months isn't it?) though seems extremely short/low mileage. Never had a problem with my 4,500 miles a year tops (M-Way miles mainly) with 1 high quality oil change a year it has to be said. Magnatec I use is semi synth.... I like doing it myself cause you know what went in there for certain.

Would cheap oil twice a year be better ?

(though to be fair if you catch a deal Magnatec is only a few pounds per can more than the cheapest you can find)

I suppose if you are hammering your Bongo either in driving style or mileage it would best doing it twice a year.

I do the same as you bb123 and 11 years later and after 140k miles everything seems fine.

You picked a good day for it. Tomorrow doesn't look like it'd be much fun compared to today.

Yeah was nice and easy no spillage Mike... easy access to the nut as well as they ride high... one of the easiest vehicles to do an oil change.
