Will you be running the two in series Brian?Merlot man wrote:Thanks for that Gasy and the ebay link .
At £63 it sounds like a good investment to help the gearbox out , are you taking one hose from your existing cooler to the new 13 row item of two , im assuming its the two , flow and return ?
Thanks
Brian

Re: I'm selling me bongo
Yes that's the plan bongolia ,
Thinking about it I think that the rubber pipe will go from the steel aft pipe to the new cooler then from the new cooler to the original cooler and back to the gearbox , does this make sense ?
Does it make any difference which steel pipe I take the rubber pipe from ie flow or return ?
Thanks
Brian

As to the flow and return I suppose it could depend on the way the cooler is made but I wouldnt have thought it would make that much of a difference especially as you have two coolers.

Re: I'm selling me bongo
Jesus that's a quick reply !
That good to hear , I don't plan on doing much towing with it but we are heading to the Auvergne and maybe Alps region of France this summer in the heat and it would be nice to think that the gearbox isn't been worked too hard
At the kind of money they are being sold for it seems rude not to
Thanks as always for the advice

Re: I'm selling me bongo
Just one hose is disturb / cut
I'm running it in parrallel with the existing one
So atf fluid comes out of box goes through existing rad and then through new 13 row rad and then back to gear box

It's a s shaped hose at the bottom of existing rad
About 10mm
And it's on the drivers side of the existing rad at the bottom

Hello Gasy
Thanks for the that , what your saying also makes sence , let the atf first cool in the existing rad and then in the new rad before going back to the 'box .
Thanks for pointing out which pipe is which
I feel this project coming on soon

The piprwork is a 5 min job
It's finding suitable brackets that's the hard bit
You need two different handed right angle brackets
Think the big self taping bolt / screws are called tektight
It just came to me
