cmm303 - I filled that little gap with some custom designed and 3D printed sections, which I then bonded on. That works well. I used an expensive process at work (then hand finished and sprayed to match), but I could offer to do it on my home 3D printer in a generic silver material if you're interested.

That is a kind offer. It does not fuss me too much and it is now apparent that my bodyshop didn't too good a job with some of the metal work above the bumper which is now bubbling so I need to get that sorted this summer.

cmm303 , Just in the process of fitting a pair, they weld ok and the extra that you cut off can be used to fill in inner structure etc, they need to be split and a 25 mm infill used in order for them to fill the complete arch profile.

Good Luck.

Hi folks.
I'm getting my rear arches replaced, and was wondering if the Mercedes Sprinter mark 1 (1995-2006) was still considered the best option? I believe from this thread that the replacement needs to be cut and widens with a spacer.
What about this one, from Mazdabongo.com:
http://mazdabongo.com/catalog/new-mazda ... ll-models/

Or this one, from Bongospares:

Do they need to be cut and widened?

Thanks in advance from Leon

They look like Sprinter Arches, by cutting the arches it actually makes them easier to fit and weld also welding in the fillet makes them stronger .

I use these, they are a lot cheaper and the steel quality is good.

This covers where to make the cut and align the arch. The offside is not so important unless you have an Aero kit fitted.
