Re: Proposed day meet at Wookey Hole Caves, Somerset

It's now a definite knee op in mid February. I'll keep my eye on this though as there's nothing better than driving a bongo with a dodgy left knee! No problem at all!

May be interested in joining you on this one. Will depend on possible knee op in mid February but definitely interested. Any chance of staying over?

Re: breakfast club

I agree, The Breakfast Club were brilliant. I also thought Strangetown [year before] were brilliant but they seem to have fallen off the edge of the world since - did we do that to them?

Can't wait for June.

Re: New Year meet at Looe

Well, are you back then? Or are you still frozen to the ground? Was contemplating joining you, but I'm glad I didn't. I'm freezing in the house! And my bongo would not have kept me warm enough!

Happy New Year by the way!

Re: Panorama of Bash

We had a great weekend. This was my third Bash, first with the other half. He was dreading it, hating the camping thing, but thoroughly enjoyed himself and has confirmed he wants to go again next year. My Gawd! What is the world coming to. Does this mean he's going to want to come on holiday with me...

Small world - I live in Upper Stratton - and yes, that's why I bought the Bongo!! Love it to bits. Realised how uncomfortable our Escort Estate was to drive long distances once I'd bought it!!!!!! I'm off to Cornwall on Saturday, AND IT WILL BE 30 DEGREES IN THE SHADE. I'm concentrating really hard ...

Maybe too late but here's my pitch

Green tintop NUI 5177. Based in Swindon. Go surfing Woolacombe and Mawgan Porth as much as possible. Use as main vehicle so out and about quite a bit. Was at Bash this year with our Venezia combi camp trailer tent
