Re: Change transmission fluid
Great thanks guys. i am looking at getting a garage to do it now, if mine had a drain plug id probably go for it. I have been ringing around to see if i could get a sump cover with a drain plug to put back on, but no joy as yet. Might try Mazda and see what the cost would be.

Re: Change transmission fluid
Thanks for the reply. It would appear that i'm one of those without a sump plug, as i cant see it on my 2002 V6, so i better either go buy a vacuum pump and start messing with pipes or pay for a garage to do it. any idea of rough costs ? There are a couple of recommended Bongo garages in Bristol so ...

Change transmission fluid
Evening all. Gave my Bongo a check over at the weekend and noticed that my transmission fluid was a very pale pink verging on brown. So from what i have read this should be drained and changed. Has anyone here done this themselves ? Any hints or tips ? I was thinking of buying a pump to remove the o...

Re: Stereo replacement
I am hoping that Santa leaves me one of these ! Not holding my breath though. http://www.roadradio.com/Kenwood/DDX4016DAB/?gclid=CPD1nc_y3dACFei97Qod3oQCog whatever happens need to do something about radio reception. It only works well if parked up in the middle of Bristol, useless when driving along.

Went for the pro fit out although i took it all apart myself and replaced it all to keep the costs down, Really wich i could have fitted bigger/ better fronts but door depth screwed me up. Re: Secret Subwoofer
i have been on for doing exactly the same, although im thinking of buying a 2.1 amp with blurtooth on and using it to run a sub and a couple of componant speakers to make it an all round box. stick a laptop battery in and it should be able work stand alone or mains.

Re: Change speakers
Thanks, i tried some 5s against the existing mounts and they seemed too small hence the 6 inch comment. The guy at the audio fitters said he would install 5x7s so maybe ill let him have a go. Also looking for advice from anyone with a midi side conversion on how the card might come off, especially a...

Re: Change speakers
Genius, thanks for the reminder, just trawled the whole of google and didnt think to look at the end of my nose. As usual loads of great insight, although my wife has just agreed to me spending £500 on a professional fit if i want to. They said the fitting would only be 2 hours so £100 labour. 4 x 5...

Re: Change speakers
So my next question on the same topic, has anyone found a decent set of 6 inch speakers to upgrade the front standard fitted ones. I have tried two sets today and neither fitted the adaptor / spacer, and both were too deep and hit the metal work. Looks like it will have to be a custom made spacer to...
