If you pop a rough location in your profile we may be able to recommend a garage.

Re: Motorised blinds

There’s a pair of switches down by your left knee if the blinds are motorised.

Re: Alternator Failed

Geoff is correct, but if it’s only failed to provide charge, and the belts are intact, I recon it should be ok.

Sometimes a smear of washing up liquid, or rubber lube, will help. :)

Re: Bongo garage Weston super Mare

Another thought, I've a feeling the owner lives in Backwell, possibly he would meet you there take Bongy on to the the garage, then you could get the X1 back?

Worth asking.

Re: updating gross vehicle weight on v5

Apologies for slow reply, mine shows 'Revenue Weight 2300 KG Gross'. There’s certainly a lot of confusion on the internet, but it does look as though yours is showing the unladen weight as gross, which is obviously wrong. I can only suggest contacting the DVLA. Edit: Info from Allan, Plymouth: https...

Oh goodness.

Obviously we wish Allan and Lorna all the very best, and, crikey, we'll miss them.

He's looked after our Ferdinand de Bongo for a good long time, and done a brilliant job for us.

Re: updating gross vehicle weight on v5

Hi, this is not legal advice, just my view. Can I ask where you have your gross weight figure from, please? My understanding is the Bongo weighs about 17750kgs unladen, with a max gross of 2250kgs. Whatever you do to it it must not exceed 2250kgs on the road, and you don’t need to try (indeed, you c...

Re: Respray or vinyl wrap?

Hi, and welcome aboard.

You would need to speak to companies which do this work, cost will depend on what you require and where you are.

Not too helpful, I know, but best I can do. 8)

Re: Starter motor gen difference

Often the starter can be fixed with a repair kit, available pretty cheap off Flea Bay.
