my head failure seems to be caused by a failed thermostat all the rest of the cooling system is fine as when i first got the bongo i drained and flushed the whole system fitted new hoses refilled with fresh antifreeze mix as i was unsure if any was in it,then used the see saw bleeding method to blee...

A load of rubbish. If the cause of the head failure is dealt with there is no reason why the replacement head should not last as long as the original. went and picked up a injector today and while chatting with the dealer who has a link on the fury website .was advised never to buy a bongo that has had a new cylinder head and if a cylinder head goes then best to just scrap the vehicle as they will continue to fail . was also told by the same guy, ...

i have just rebuilt my 1996 2.5 bongo but when taking injectors out one came apart and i have lost the shim does anyone know where i can aquire one from
