I've an idea there will be a short gap, memory suggests peeps have just packed it with a pillow.

Bear in mind the seat is flippin' heavy so get a pal to help.

I have read the fact sheet on seat reversal with short runners but I am not clear on the following.
I sleep on the middle and front seats.
When the middle seat is reversed will it still meet with the front seats when they are folded flat to make a bed?
Or
Do I need to modify or change the runners?

... anyway - but would it be worth - for example reversing middle row seats to get a rail fixed fold down table in (i dont know if this is possible until i get it as i dont know if its on long or short runners to reverse the seat anyway) -sleeping is on seats or aft so no problem - i,m not entirely sure ...

Several options, I've gone for cut down 'Modified' runners so the seat can be fitted either way, while still sliding and locking, and fits with front or rear seats to make the bed. 8)

I have a N reg 2.5 4x4 diesel and this has the short runners,can I make the middle row rear facing with enough space to allow them to fold flat to help form a bed or do I need the long runners as I have seen on newer bongos,sorry if this has been asked befor.thanks in advance.

... depends on your DIY abilities but I would agree with 'Fairly Easy'. Yes, I have done it.

I'd recommend a 'Breaker Bar' and good quality socket to get the bolts free, they are $¥€**# tight.

Edit: The middle seat is seriously heavy, make sure you have a willing helper to remove and refit it. :wink:

To access the drivers side of the engine when the seat can't be tipped back because of a conversion, the advice is commonly to unbolt the seat, suggesting that simply sliding the seat out from its runners is not an (easy) option.
