Kyham. Brilliant bit of kit and really well designed.

Re: National Bongo Day - South Queensferry

Looks like I've got the Sunday night off work so will make a night of it somewhere, with a bottle of something malty

And I don't mean Horlicks!

Re: 400w radiator, Dunelm

Just picked one up from Dunelm (600W 7 fin) . The ticket price was £16.99 but at the checkout it comes up at £14.99 :)

Off to Braemar tomorrow for a couple of nights so will report back after its maiden voyage

Re: Would anyone like rear folding seats?

Matt,

I've got a n/s gullwing seat that's free to be butchered. Got lumbered with it somehow and am reluctant to throw it in the skip

It's Bill in Kirkcaldy that I normally deal with. Think I need to pay him another visit, after the bank manager :?

Re: Olive has been converted.......yipppeeee to 321 Away

For the first time I want a conversion after seeing those pics, looks fantastic.

How wide is the bed? Narrow beds is what's put me off but I might be tempted now

Re: Kenwood stereo

The cost to get it fitted was negligable and not worth getting the tools out so I got them to do it. It didn't need any other parts such as trim panels, just what came in the box with no modifications at all.

I've now got the remote for it too so I can now relax and get lazier :)

Cruden Bay harbour, Aberdeenshire

Beautiful spot to spend the night. Signs saying "Motorhomes welcome" with the harbour masters phone number, phone him up put a fiver with your registration written on it into the honesty box and that's it. Basic but clean public toilets, CCTV coverage, 10 minute walk to the pub, a quay sid...

Re: where to buy in Scotland - or should i look further afie

Another vote for Bill at Campercraft, a great guy to deal with. He didn't have any when I was looking but was happy to offer advice and he even offered to travel to London to look at some motors with me  Eventually when I did find the right motor I took it to him to get work done and again fo...

Doubt we'll get to Glencoe, it's terrible when work interferes with your social life. Will definitely meet up with you all again soon though.

Re: Kenwood stereo

The stereo lights match the dash lights pretty well, making sure I could adjust the stereo lights was one of my main considerations about how it looked, you can change it in so many ways, you can even have it in a disco mode that would make me want to hammer it out of the dash

Re: A resounding sucess

We went to Deeside Holiday Park on the South Deeside Road, its virtually walking distance from home but it didn't matter, felt like a million miles away. On Sunday night we went to the hotel next door, The Old Mill Inn (Champers to those who remember it) and had a fantastic meal, the carvery was a s...

Kenwood stereo

Not sure if this is a "pimp" or not, it's certainly a new toy. I wanted a decent stereo for the new bongo and wanted one that fitted the double din hole nicely. I went for this Kenwood DPX504U from Dick Flemming in Aberdeen. It fits perfectly, looks great and sounds great. Just need the re...

A resounding success

We had our first trip in the new motor last weekend. We stayed local in case we'd forgotten something but it all went perfectly. The two year wait has been worth it for three of the best nights sleep I've had in ages, although that may have been due to the beer, wine, port and Glenlivet  http:/...
