Re: Easter Meet anyone?
Hi Jo, Just caught up with the thread and I think that all of us (Famil_Oz) are up for the sausage competition, so please stick down for that. Sam is still in the design phase (posh for haven't started it yet) for the girls bonnets. If we bring our digdog he'll be suitable dressed for the event too....

Re: New Bongo Hesitation When Driving V6
Hi Nick, I feel for you mate. Our "Mr Kwippy" cost me £650 10 days ago in 2 repairs. My front crankshaft seal went (£20 part) and 8 hours labour. So as was suggested bud, straight back to the dealer and a good idea to get those other seals done. Wish I'd thought of that too. We are in the ...

Re: New Bongo Hesitation When Driving V6
Hi Nick, I would take the bongo straight back to the dealer, irrespective of the issue as you will be covered by their warrenty. Hopefully it's a bit of naff fuel, though this is highly unlikely in this day and age. Get them to take if for a test drive and try and identify the problem. I hope it's a...

I really feel for Bill.
I found Bill on this forum, and despite his difficulties was absolutely awesome in offering assistance with our poorly bongo.
Good luck mate, and we will be popping up for a chat, a brew and to see whats on offer.
Cheers bud......

Hi Jo,
Thats great, we should be coming up Friday and get there with enough light to pitch and let the girls run 'loose'.
Is the site dog friendly or shall I have the hound put into kennels?

Re: Snowchains - 9, 12 or 16mm?
Hi there, We normally ski most seasons down in France. Rather than chains, which are a nause to fit, have you had a look at 'snow socks' - thats a brand name, but rather than using chains these fit over your wheels (different sizes) and work out approx £50/60 a pair. I used the same set on a vectra ...

Hi Jo,
Just got your PM and replied.
Could you give us the dates so they are in the set in concrete.
I'm just about to inform my good wife that she now has to make easter bonnets for the girls!

Re: Easter Meet anyone?
Hi there Jo,
I've dropped you a PM wrt details for this meet.
We've had our bongo since late Aug, but due to work commitments and having to work away lots, we've not had a chance to use our bongo in 'anger' so to speak.
Looking forward to meeting up and seeing how seasoned bongoniers do it.

Re: Electric mirrors not folding
Cheers mate, will take a look at it. I am going to ask around at work to find someone that knows a bit about electrics and stereos etc to se if they can sort me out. I don't mind tackling stuff, however with electrics I could well end up doing more damage than good. However I will check the state of...

Re: Electric mirrors not folding
Hi Geoff, Tried and sadly it didn't work. It's one of those niggles that are a 'nice to have' and will have to be put on a back burner, as I've still got to sort out a decent aerial for our radio. The internal ones are pump and I'm trying to figure out which external type and locations would be best...

Electric mirrors not folding
Hi there, I've got a V6 LPG full convert (will post piccies once I figure out how to upload). My mirrors are not folding in. The fuse is fine (radio & cigar lighter work), and when I press the switch both mirrors 'flex' slightly and remain open. Does anyone have an idea about what the issue coul...

Re: How to fit an aerial?
Hi there, I bought from JAL and have a V6 LPG convert and love it, especially the savings at the pump. We did 540 Km's on friday back down from Scotland, sat on the motorway at 3000 rpm (70/74 mph) and cost +/- £60 for the lpg. Awesome return on a fully laden camper with passengers (myself and daugh...

Re: LPG Recommended Converters
Hi all, We have just done a 8 day trip to visit family in our V6 2.5 Petrol up in Scotland. We did approximately 1400kms over the 8 days, including 540Km each way. I used approx 180ltrs of lpg for all the travel and about £10 of petrol (start up etc). Our tank is only taking 53ltrs at a push each ti...
