Re: help please slow coolant leak!!
sounds a bit like mine. It sort of sits just below the 'low' level. I had it like that for a few months before starting to read this forum and panicking. Wheelquick found and fixed a leak (forgot to ask where), but its dropped down again to just below 'low'. now I'm back to topping it up. Can someon...

Re: Nut size - rear flip up seat mountings
Thanks Corblimey, they arrived and they fit. So, this is the absolute definitive nut-size post: Four M10 metric fine pitch (i.e. 1.25mm thread) flanged nuts are required to fix each of the rear split folding seats in place. They did have to change the order as the ones I ordered originally were stan...

Re: Nut size - rear flip up seat mountings
Thanks Corblimey, just before you posted I bought these M10s: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290483637180. Have just emailed them to check its 1.25. I've had another look at the diagram - although only two nuts are pictured on each side of the bongo, there is the number 4 i...

Re: Nut size - rear flip up seat mountings
useful ...err... thread. Sort of lacking a definitive conclusion. tallbongo: did the M8 metric nut fit? I want to replace the standard nuts with wingnuts or some kind of lobed knob (like http://www.powertoolworld.co.uk/category-2637/trend-wp-prt21-prt-lobe-knob-30mm-diameter-x-m8-female.html this or...

Will keep fingers crossed. In fact, I'll zip-tie my fingers crossed. Should work.

Re: Driver's door won't open from the inside
thanks for your help (both wordy and short). The bar that connects the handle to the un-locking mechansim had come loose, but not at the handle end (as suggested) but at the lock end. So I took the door 'card' (weird word) off and managed to hook the bar back into the hole it belongs, using a mirror...

Re: Driver's door won't open from the inside
Thanks all, especially for the photo and diagram. I don't think its going to be that part: the locking mechanism works. Its the door lever that doesn't do anything (58-321Z if I read it correctly). That will be a job for the weekend then. I'll report back. I've checked, and can confirm that there is...

Driver's door won't open from the inside
Err, hello. First post nerves... So I think I've got my first genuinely novel problem. Can't find a solution on the forum, which is otherwise amazingly informative and has helped me resolve a number of non-novel problems in record time, including in deep snow and freezing temperatures next to Loch L...
