Re: Under BONNET and DRIVERS KNEE FUSES
Thanks for reply. Visually examination? Looking at the top of the PLASTIC LID fuses there would appear to be a small green oblong. In some FUSES the green oblong is black. Up for testing all FUSES after removing from 1-20 slots in the drivers knee fuse box. How is this done? Do you just touch the me...

Under BONNET and DRIVERS KNEE FUSES
Asked garage who fitted my new glow plug relay last year if they would attend my Bongo. Engineer said no one immediately available but suggested I use a TEST light to check my fuses. Attached alligator clip to battery negative terminal and proceeded to test under bonnet fuses. Bulb lit up fuses 7-10...

Re: Dash Warning Lights
Renewed glow plug relay last Spring.
Familiar with listening test for "click" from under the bonnet drivers side next to 12v battery.
No sure how to test "stop solenoid"

Re: Dash Warning Lights

Dash Warning Lights
Yesterday afternoon when I turn the ignition key no warning lights come on. (Always wait until yellow glow plug light goes out before turning key to start) (First time in seven years ownership) Used my Bongo in the morning no problem (Engine turning but not starting so cannot check ALTERNATOR) Check...

Starter Motor
Does a 1995 Bongo starter motor require any servicing?
For example, oiling, without removing from vehicle.
There would appear to be two plastic grommets on mine.
On EBay there are two separate listings for a new BONGO 2.5 TDI starter, both less than £90.
Has anyone any experience with these units?

Re: N364 RGD STOLEN
ALL GREEN WITH NO DECALS. I could spot my Bongo from outer space. Two years ago she was re-sprayed dark green again(the original colour) As part of the preparation all the decals/transfers were removed. The elevating cream roof was changed to green. Looked better than brand new with no garish transf...

Is the Ball Joint an entity?

DUST COVERS to pass MOT
My MOT tester has advised that both o/s and n/s track rod end & lower suspension arm ball joints dust covers are "excessively damaged". (there is a small split in one( n/s TRE) which is kept closed by the weight of the Bongo BUT the other 3 seem to be intact). Various suggestions : Rep...
