Re: Austria and lake como

Also check out the Bong Fury Fact Sheet on Low Emission Zones around London. If you are travelling in that area they have cameras reading registration numbers and if not registered you could face a £100 fine. Been there but fortunately my van had been registered under the original registration numbe...

Re: Breakdown cover for the over sixteens

I'm with Safeguard & have been over the last 3 years. Used the recovery 3 times so far, twice in the UK and once in Germany. Great service from them. German breakdown picked up after around 30 minutes and fixed two hours later.

Re: European Breakdown Cover - 2013 update

I have travelled through Europe a few times and have been covered by SafeGuard Insurance for the last 3 years. The policy includes UK & European breakdown cover. Maybe not the cheapest annual cover at £310 but has given me the piece of mind while in Europe. I had my rear matrix disconnected by s...

Having attended the Forth Bridge meet we are disappointed we will not be able to join you at this one. We will still be in Pargue but hope to meet again during the Gairloch outing.

Re: cooling system airlocks

Bit late in replying perhaps but I had my rear matrix disconnected by something on the autobahn near Cologne last September. Hit something on the road while passing a lorry which snapped both inlet and outlet pipes. Recovery service took me to a garage who bypassed the matrix, connected the pipes, r...

Re: Forth Bridge meet

For our first attendance at a get together it was good to see so many like minded people. Hope to be able to do this again some time. Sorry we missed everybody at the Hawes Inn.

I did consider this but was reluctant until I heard from others that had had the same problem. Thanks for the quick response. Will try this tomorrow.
