We did a loop in the USA taking in Zion, Bryce, Antelope and the Grand Canyon. I also visited the vineyards of the Napa Valley, Yosemite National Park, the Mono Lake and Death Valley. :D

New Venture - Wedding Photography

Hi everyone. As many of you know I have been a successful landscape photographer and photgraphic judge for over 15 years. I have now decided to do wedding photography and would like to offer all my friend on Bongofury a 10% discount on the cost of my wedding photography service. If you, or someone y...

Re: Bongoing again.

Nice one Donald. I miss my Bongo like mad. My two boys are still a wee bit young for camping/bongo'ing as the youngest is only 7 months. As soon as they are both old enough to go camping I may be looking for a new Bongo myself. :-)

Re: Spirit of Speyside Whisky festival, 28th April - 2 May??

101 views and not one reply. The Spirit of Speyside is an annual event and is on this year from May 3rd to May 7th 2012. I thought there may have been more interest in this one as I know a lot of our members enjoy a wee dram! Anyone fancy going along for a wee tour or event? :P

Re: Update September meet Scotland

I'm working all weekend guys but may try to pop down on the Sunday morning. The Braemar Gathering is on the Saturday if that interests anyone. It's a good hour and a half to two hour drive from the campsite though. It may be a good day out far any royalists. The Glenfiddich Distillery do free tours ...

Re: A few bongo questions

Hi, I can't answer all your queries but here is the answer to some. If the rust is only small patches you should get it treated or DIY before it gets any worse. There are many Bonho's/Freda's out there, of verging quality. Your own budget can be an influence on what you buy. The decals are easily re...

Re: Lookin for my first Bongo - help please!

According to their website, Dickson's have three for sale at the moment. There are a few garages in Scotland that sell Bongo's. http://www.directcampers.me.uk is another. They are based in Kilmarnock and mostly sell converted vans. They are expensive but the conversions are brand new.

Re: Lookin for my first Bongo - help please!

Hi, I am considering selling my Bongo. It's a white over grey, 'R' registered van, unconverted with 29,000 miles on it. It has the AFT roof. It's a 2.5 V6 petrol. These are quieter than the diesel's and the difference in fuel economy is only a few miles per gallon. I use it for camping and take alon...
