Hi,how do you check your fuel consumption.
If you check it by the fuel gauge and trip your gauge might be acting up.

Re: Oil dipstick and rear diff breather
Hi,the length of the dip stick is 475mm.From the tip of the stick to the stop above the O ring.
The diff breather..just prise off the cover and check the breather hole, clean out if required then replace the cover.

Re: burning oil
Hi,
Was it using oil prior to your engine repair.
What is the oil consumption.
Did you scrape all the carbon off the piston heads.

Re: engine overheat ????
I have just returned from a trip and I am a wee bit concerned about the engine temp. We were towing a small caravan and faced several long steep hills. I have the temp on my alarm set at 120 (the highest it will set too) and it went off on four occasions. Rising to a 124 temp after sounding the ala...

Re: oil leak
Hi everyone, We have the oil leak back, we thought it had stopped but now everytime we drive away there is a puddle of oil which runs onto the road from the sump cover (it must gather there whilst stood) then a streak for a few yards as we drive away. We have it booked into our garage but not until...

Re: Pirelli P7 tyres
I'm looking at replacement tyres, and all I can seem to find are Pirelli P7's in the right size and load rating. 215/55/17/96 is what I'm after (came with 17" alloys on) Anyone used P7's - opinions good or bad? Anyone found alternative tyres that size? Might have to go with what I can get, as ...

Re: Head or Gasket?
I'm still not convinced that there is a head problem. The turbo has been mentioned before as a possible problem, as the pipework for it is at the stat housing fitting or removing the thermostat could affect air ingress. If a chat about it would help pm me your land line number. Thanks Mel, I'll giv...
