Re: No Red/Yellow warning lights, charging. Stumped!
Geoff…. You are a Legend! Bulbs all checked out ok and then I noticed very small bit of damage to one of the copper Pcb lines. MM confirmed a break. I have taped two strand of copper wire to bridge the break and all lights are good on start up. I even have a seat belt warning that wasn’t working bef...

Re: No Red/Yellow warning lights, charging. Stumped!
Thanks Geoff. That’s my thoughts too. I’ve just spoken to Burfield Alternators and they said the charge light needs to light to get the alternator going so that would explain why no charge. Last significant work was new metal coolant hose under driver seat, bit of cill welding, replacement rocker co...

No Red/Yellow warning lights, charging. Stumped!
Problem: no ‘red or yellow’ warning lights when starting Bongo ie no handbrake, no oil light, no glow plug, charge or roof light. I do have main headlight beam warning, indicators and heated rear window warning lights working as expected. Van starts and runs but no charge output coming from the alte...

Re: What double din with god will fit a Mazda Bongo 1998
+1 on the Pumpkin units. Fitted one to my mx5, no battery drain and does things no top brand units can. Also added a dab module which is brilliant. 1,000s os tracks on a micro sd, Waze, Spotify, power amp, tunein radio apps all work perfect. BT phone, reverse cam, use “ok google “ to play tracks, ch...

Job done
Thanks for the advice. Bit fiddly to get the underside bolt in but it’s done and nice and secure again.

Re: Seat covers
Keep an eye out in Lidl. They have covers in every now and again. Had a set on for over a year now, fit pretty well and look smart. About £15 I think will do the two front seats and headrests but don’t really work for the split rears. As a bonus I found one of the spare headrest covers fits well ove...

Re: 8mm roof bolt sockets pulled out...
Thanks! Just been out to the Bongo and found both short captive bolts! Will give it a go later today. I might use a tiny bit of resin in addition.

8mm roof bolt sockets pulled out...
Whilst unbolting my solar panel from the roof ( to go under the council tip barrier) the 8mm bolts turned with the socket and both sockets came loose in the aft. I can’t seem to get to the underside but think there may have been a corresponding bolt underneath securing the socket? Anyone had this pr...
