tested the power to the glow plug bar..11.5 volts and after light goes out the power satays on for maybe 10-15 seconds.. so would looking at the cold start solinoid be next move? had new glow plugs only 2 months or so ago. the egr is blanked off and the vac pipe that goes to the egr has been always ...

tbh the cold start relay has never worked propperly since we have had bongo.
Its never run high then drop down,and drops a bit when ac is on too
from what you say it could be a relay issue..will have a play .

lumpy start,had new plugs.still lumpy
bongo has started getting lumpy on start up then after warm perfect.
I changed the glow plugs bout 2 months ago.
from what i read on here maybe the glow relay of cold start solinoid.
But iam not sure what to try 1st or in what order to try and work out the problem.

fuel shut off valve?not sure where it is
hi guys last night at 1am i decided to move the bongo up against the garage door for security and took key out and carried on running. its done it a little bit in the past but this time woulnt stop at all.had to remove fuel line! sounds like fuel shut off,as not seen a turbo timer anywhere. any idea...

Yup Willinton uses the Voltage Sensitive Relay, you will some times here it clicking after you have switched off the engine, so provided the charger will put the voltage up above that of the relay switching point it will charge both batteries, some small mtce. type chargers might not get the voltag...

Blanked both ends of egr off tonigh,is it me or is it slightly quicker through the gears?
