Re: Another MOT pass

Well done. First fail in 10 years for V6 today in an early test. Bit of welding, emissions fail, front ball joints and the number plate bulb. Nothing too bad except for the carbon monoxide emissions.

Re: Thanks for 10 years of Support

The end of an era for Greece Green Bongo! Whatever happens to it now, I doubt it's life will be as anazing, it's taken you on some epic trips. It certainly has. Annual trips to Devon being amongst them! It was 10 years ago this month I picked it up from Southampton Docks and drove it down to Allan'...

Re: Thanks for 10 years of Support

Just had a trip to see Mike and the ambulance up at Wheelquick in Wigan. Can see why they are thought of so well on here. Great guy. very happy with Toyota Himedic and it's being prepared for the road. Only problem is checking that the privacy glass in the back and rear side can be replaced cheaply ...

Re: Thanks for 10 years of Support

Well still a Bongo owner. The Toyota Himedic Granvia 3.4 V6 arrived at Southampton last week and has now landed at Wheelquick. Been a long 10 weeks. Driving up tomorrow to have a look and if happy should drive it home in a couple of weeks when it's all serviced and ready.
Very, very excited.

Re: Indy Love X

Cheers Geoff I'd read that and it would certainly be an amazing trip. I wondered if they have blogged on the trip elsewhere as this is only about the planning stage. Tried googling but can't find anything. Hope they are ok and got to the Burning Man festival.

Re: Finding V6 Coolant Leak.

Thanks Glenda, yes - our bus has been there a couple of times now. Been great first two visits. This time, with the water pump, it is coming up to 2 weeks. Meant to be in Wales walking in the mountains but had to cancel. Luckily the weather there, has been, and is wet and windy till the weekend. We...

Re: JCS (SW) LTD - Anyone heard of?

Looks good but only a fair price. Wheelquick 2002 Elgrano 54,000 miles £6,999 add 2 grand for roof and 4 grand full conversion gives £13,000. Would be down to colour and which one felt right for me. Time is a factor too. Deposit down on a Toyota LWB, Hitop, 3.4 V6 ambulance for self conversion. It's...

Re: Finding V6 Coolant Leak.

Glenda - out of interest which Worthing Boys garage is your bus at please? I'm always looking for local 'specialist' places that I can maybe use. PM if you would rather not share publicly - thanks. Yes they are Geoff's boys. I see you've been there before. Fine for routine work. I have visited Alla...
