Welcome aboard.
Not a set of symptoms I'm familiar with, but we may be able to suggest a Bongo Friendly garage near you.

We had some 'underneath' work done by Bongo Spares not long back.
The Malthouse, close by, has letting rooms, or the bus outside goes to Halifax where there’s cheap hotels.
Good to see you back.

Re: Central locking confusion
It’s not unusual for the wire to break inside the insulation, caused by 'work hardening' as the door opens and closes over years.
Possibly someone has already done a repair, hence the extra wire outside the loom, and that has now failed.

The problem here is the quality of job you’re getting for your money.
All I can say is it’s likely better to pay for a quality job rather than try and repair later.
Worth checking the 'Rust Directory' Fact Sheet.

Re: Coolant system just won't bleed!!
It will be good if you can get it to a Bongo Friendly garage, they understand the cooling system quirks.
Let’s hope you get sorted.
