Central locking confusion
I have a 96 2.5Td 4 wheel drive. Central locking from drivers side. Doesn't look standard as the wire that runs from the door to the body sits outside the main loom. Has been working fine, but now dropped. The locks all lock as the car drives, so it's not power and the actuator is working. So the ac...

Re: Wiring in rear camera
Great. That's what I was thinking. If I get the right connectors, can I take power from the head unit loom, so that I run this one "mother" cables to the same place, rather than splitting the video to the head unit and the power to somewhere else?

Re: Wiring in rear camera
Hi I'm jumping on this as there seems to be the right level of knowledge kicking around. I have a camera mounted into the spoiler itself, and I've found the severed end of the black wire (containing red, black, yellow and white and what appears to be shield (bare wire) behind the driver's seat. I wa...

Tappets
I am due to change the rocker cover gasket on my 96 2.5 TD. At the same time was considering adjusting tappets as I understand this is a good idea. Can I turn the crankshaft from the top? Is it a case of just getting a 38mm socket and turning whilst engine in neutral?
Thanks
Thanks

Mystery wire under centre console
Any idea what wire connected here? A section of it was attached but tore off. Wasn't going anywhere. Looks nasty here generally. Any idea what can cause this?
