fav camping food
I haven't been camping in about 10 years since I used to go with ex. We used to survive on cider, fags, coffee and corned beef butties :lol: :lol: In 2 weeks I will be heading off my hubby and the kids - luckily no one is a fussy eater but I am at a loss to what to feed everyone. We have a hob with ...

Re: just picked up my new bongo yay!
That's great to know I have someone well thought of closeish to me.
Hoping he can figure a reasonable way of getting another 3 point seatbelt installed on the back.

Re: Front bench swivel seats
Hi jimbob thanks for taking the time to reply. I rang the company that installed it originally and they said they couldnt add a 3rd 3 point seat belt through the cupboard but could mount the unit on the back of the seat?? - it would be £140 ish. So it looks hopeful. I take it you don't have any safe...

private light goods to campervan
So picked my van yesterday yay. I got a good insurance quote and they asked if it was classed as a campervan on the v5. I said yes as I assumed it was. It has a full side conversion but in checking the v5 it says private light goods. I can meet all the requirements except receipts for the conversion...

Re: just picked up my new bongo yay!
The people we bought the bongo from said the previous owners had replaced the can belt but had no proof of this. 123 away usually change the can belt as part of their conversion service and do the underseal but def a good idea to ring them and check. Also van is going in for a full service soon so w...

Re: just picked up my new bongo yay!
Yep 1 child in front 1 on rear bench and hubby in the back- most of the time it will just be me and the kids. Saving like mad for the swivel front bench or new seat belt in rear- I checked the cupboard and all the anchor points are in place and visible, hoping I can fit one without dedtroying the wa...

Re: Front bench swivel seats
Thanks very helpful. Found loads of info. Short term we will use front seat for 1 child, back seat for another and hubby can travel in the back. Aim is to save for swivel bench seat, I like hubby to be co pilot. We will only be doing local trips for this year so it will give us time to save. Great h...

Re: Front bench swivel seats
2 mins after I posted I realised I could do that duh. Hubby would just have to slum it in the back! That would also solve the kids winding each other up bit but would have to negiatate whose turn it is to sit in the front!
Will look into racing harness, that sounds promising. Thanks
