Re: Change transmission fluid

So last weekend i went ahead and changed the fluid, good job i did ! As you can see from the picture links it was totally black ! I removed 2.5 litres via a vacuum pump then the rest by loosening the sump cover. Despite the dark colour there were very few bits in the filter or on the magnet. Also lu...

Re: Matresses

I had mine custom made in Bristol at http://www.bristolupholstery.co.uk/ luckily i live local so they could measure up. They were not cheap but fit perfectly, are high quality foam ( they recommended me away from memory foam even though it was more expensive ) not too soft or too hard, and have remo...

Re: Change transmission fluid

Just getting ready to slide under the van and count the number of nuts holding the sump on as per the comment from mazdabongo.com Normally I would say it should be the V6 Petrol Alternative being the late model. Please see the link below and expand the picture, you should then be able to compare it ...

Re: Loud ticking noise in drivers footwell

Said ticking has stopped. I had been using the spare central locking fob and immobiliser as my wife had the main keys. When she came home she unlocked the van with that set and ticking had gone ? Coincidence ? Another thing to keep an ear out for.

Re: Cigarette lighter

Just tried with the tester again, red in the centre inside, black on the outside casing, 12v showing on the fluke. tried across both ends of the fused link, no voltage, but if you switch to bell it does sound across the same. On another note (not sure if related, now have a very loud ticking like an...

Re: Cigarette lighter

i have a fluke electrical tester from my time on site (years ago) show amp volts and continuity (bell). The rewire from the leisure could be right there is a white fused cable coming from the leisure battery, but it has a purple as well, but the fuse tests ok, i will trace it out and report back.
