Protection for BACK of rear bench seat
Hi, my 2 dogs spend time in the back of the Bongo and lean against the back of the back seat. I need something to protect it with (water and hair proof), and wondered what anyone else has found or adapted? Thanks

Screw-in holes when tailgate open....
Hi, There is a hole (deliberate!) each side of the inside of the tailgate opening which looks like it would take some sort of screw fixing. Any idea why it's there and what sort of screw it takes? It could be useful! Thanks

Re: Probably stupid question but..
Thanks everyone. Should have clarified re France . I hope the mean machine will be fighting fit when we go, but anyone had any mechanical issues in France, and if so, how easy was it to get it sorted? Thanks again!

Probably stupid question but..
can you drive with the tilt-out windows open? And another one - any reason why we shouldn't take our 2l petrol 54 plate Bongo to France for 2 weeks June/July next year (with appropriate insurance and break down cover - if we can get it?) Living in Dorset, it's suddenly become quite a Bongo-rich envi...

Re: wot are you towing with petrol 20l
I wouldn't want to tow anything with my 2L. With 2 adults, 2 dogs and a van load of 'stuff', as my other half commented "it really doesn't like hills, does it?!"

Re: Levelling Ramps, useful or not?
I bought some ramps which I've not had to use yet. Turns out they are 17" wide as are the tyres. Will this work or will it be super tricky, and if so, what margin of excess over tyre size do you need in ramps? Thanks

Re: Ferry to France with dogs
Hi, we've usually dove an overnight crossing Portsmouth to St Malo and wondered how the dogs would cope if in the car or kennels, how often you get to visit etc. trying to decide whether that's fair/wise/feasible or whether we need to use the tunnel - but it adds a lot to our journey. Many thanks
