Re: MX5 clock fitting

does this sort of thing help any. http://mazdamenders.net/~mazdamen/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2801 Thank you. Yes, this does half the job for me. Now I need to identify which are the equivalent wires on my bongo. I'm afraid I have no electrical skills at all and I wouldn't know how to use an electrical...

MX5 clock fitting

Hi I've got hold of the MX5 clock/cubby combination. It has been supplied with the plug. I just wondered if anyone could help with which wires to connect up to get it working. I beieve I will only need a live and a negative but don't know if thats right or even which colours they might be. It's too ...

Re: 2002 bongo sidelights

Thank you so much for the quick reply. That's a relief. I thought the bulbs may be stuck in the headlamp unit. I had visions of them rattling around inside the unit.

Thanks again. :) :)

2002 bongo sidelights

I think I'm just getting too old. I can't believe I'm asking this but how do you change the W5W sidelight bulb on the above? I have taken the electrical connector off and the bulb is still sitting within the headlamp. Is this normal? It seems to be sitting within another black plastic holder. And I'...

Sidelight bulbs

Hi, Can anyone tell me how to remove the sidelight bulbs from my headlight units. There are two small bulbs in each unit and I'm not sure which ones they are. I did pull the electrical connection from the top one but it still didn't give obvious access to the bulb.Neither are working but the rear li...

Re: Speedo needle

Hi, Thank your for taking the time to reply. I think I have put it right. I took the needle back off and reconfigured the two brass "weights" in the cap. I then wound the needle anti clockwise around the dial (as suggested on other forums in relation to removing and replacing a needle). It...

Speedo needle

Hi, I took my speedo needle off to change my dial. When I took it off two small brass coloured semi cicular pieces of metal fell out. I put them back where I think they should go but now my needle sits at zero but as soon as I start up it shifts up to 10 MPH while still stationary. Any ideas please?...

Hi all, Can anyone tell me how to extract the binnacle holding the speedo dial, temp dial? I have just acquired a white speedo dial to match the other dials (the converter changed it for a black dial). I have average skills and no specialist tools. Do I need to disconnect the battery or take any oth...

Re: Head unit removal

Oh, probably.. I've only had the van 2 days and not even had a chance to give it a good look over. I will pop out now and have a look.

Thank you for replying. :)
