Thanks that is really useful advice. I have found an old multimeter. If I take out the fuse and test with the resistor setting, would no reading mean faulty fuse?

The black fuel leads were connected to the red and black leads of the cut off leads by male and female connectors. I reconnected the black fuel pump leads. I haven't connected the red and black cut off leads as I thought I wouldn't need to. Do you think I should?

So I've checked the leisure battery and that is fully charged. I've checked all the fuses and they all look OK. Still no power internally (apart from fan heater) and still turns over but not starting ?
