My Bongo (2002 2.5V6) has had an issue with the driver door for a while.. basically I can't open it from the inside and the only way to get out is to roll down the window and open the handle from outside. Thanks that's exactly what the clasp looks like... and before I read this I'd just phoned JAL who said he could email me prices for part but will look on ebay too.
Now to find someone to fit it... JAL said I could find a mechanic locally so guess it's a yellow pages job for that too

I'll fess up that I've not used my Bongo for camping for over a year now. The roof clasp broke (snapped in half when trying to shut it) on a manual sky lift roof last time I used it. I've had my Bongo less than a year but MOT due (and never had a service since import so need that too).
I live in central Bristol so am thinking of using Hallen Motors? Has anybody any experience of them?

Just bought a bongo (having been toying with idea since passing my driving test nearly 3 years ago).
Based in Central Brizzle so think that counts as 'rest of the west'.
